It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the tragic passing of our friend and colleague, Jane Zander.

We were privileged to have spent the last ten years with her at Skinsation where she had an indelible impact on many lives.

Jane worked diligently to make sure our staff had what they needed each day, and that our clients looked and felt their best. She was always looking for “the next big thing” in our industry and figuring out how to help the most people with it.

Not only did she lovingly care for our staff and clientele, but Jane was also a champion for the dogs and cats of Bakersfield, making sure that they were well-cared for, too!

We don’t know which was bigger, her heart or her giving.

Jane gave the best hugs. Whenever you needed one, she was there with open arms.

If she was laughing with that infectious laugh, we all wanted to know what brought it on because it was always something good.

Jane was an active and vibrant presence in our community, and we know that she meant so much to so many....

We love you Jane. You were beautiful, creative, fun-loving, generous, and certainly one of a kind. We will miss you.

A GoFundMe site has been created by Bakersfield Renewable Fuels to support her most precious gift, her son Jack. Jack is her pride and joy and she loved him with such veracity.
